Our Chicago centre is based at De Paul University in the city centre.

9:30 – 10:50 – BREAK
10:50 – 12:20 – Lesson 2:

  • Part A – 45 mins QSE course
  • Part B – 45 mins Project work

We focus on:

  • achieving a high level of student participation and talking time in class to improve student communication skills
  • developing strategies for independent learning that can continue post-course
  • helping students with pronunciation
  • linking classroom learning to the activity and excursion program and, together with the Activity Team, motivating students to practice new language outside the classroom and facilitating situations for doing this through excursion and attraction worksheets, project work on local places or points of interest, drama and literature reflecting American culture and history
