During your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to embark on full-day trips to some of the city’s most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. Our excursions are carefully curated to provide you with a rich and immersive experience.
The following is a selection of full-day trips that you can enjoy during your time at Emerson College: Pilgrim Hall Museum, Plymouth Rock and Mayflower Il, Plymouth Plantation, Plymouth Grist Mill, Georges Island + Fort Warren, Spectacle Island, Thompson Island, Carlson Beach, Commonwealth Museum, Downtown Trail, Punto Urban Art Museum.
Porto Vecchio is a hidden gem of a waterfront village, inviting you to savor the sights and flavors of New England. The House of Seven Gables weaves a literary tapestry, while the Salem Witch Museum draws you into the enigmatic world of Salem’s bewitching history. Take to the streets and uncover Boston’s vibrant Downtown, where the city’s pulse beats with each step. Along the way, the Punto Urban Art Museum showcases the vivid expressions of local artists, painting the town with a spirit that’s uniquely Boston.
HALF-DAY TRIPS TO BOSTON
During your stay, you’II have the opportunity to embark on half-day trips to some of the city’s most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. THE ESSENCE OF ANGLO STUDY HOLIDAYS
Learn, practice and experience English differently.
Courses with dynamic lessons in the classroom, exciting workshops that challenge and engage,
and amazing excursions to make language learning an adventure.
EXCURSIONS
To put into practice all the English students have been learning they need to get out there. Excursions offer a chance to visit the places students have studied, practise their spoken English in a public setting, and explore awesome places.
LEARNING
Communicative, inspiring lessons with material for all CEFR levels, ANGLO classes are designed to build on the knowledge students bring with them, and mesh seamlessly with their stay in the UK.
WORKSHOPS
Carefully tailored sessions which typically start in the classroom for an introduction and language input, then generally students explore campus/the local area to gather information. Finally, the students present to their peers to show what they’ve learned.
SAFETY
Keeping students, staff and group leaders safe is mission critical! Health and safety, safeguarding and security are top of the list.
