Richmond, a charming district in southwest London, is bordered by the River Thames and is known for its beautiful, village-like atmosphere.
Richmond Park is a massive green space where you’ll find herds of deer roaming freely. Just a short distance away are the stunning Royal Botanic Kew Gardens to the northwest and the world-famous All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon to the southeast.
Despite being in London, Richmond maintains a peaceful, picturesque feel. You can easily reach the Underground at East Putney station by bus in about 15 minutes.
THE CENTRE

UNIVERSITY OF ROEHAMPTON
The University of Roehampton offers a self-contained, leafy campus that feels more like a scenic retreat than a city university. Located next to the expansive Richmond Park, you’ll be surrounded by nature, even though you’re in London!
The bedrooms are single ensuite and have a desk, chair, bedside
table, wardrobe and shelves. There is a shared kitchen for every
6/7 bedrooms for you to relax and hang out with friends.
There are modern classrooms with projectors and multimedia systems to assist with engaging learning, plenty of green space to play outside, and a theatre that is perfect for discos or movie nights.
Free WiFi is available across the whole campus.

Explore London and beyond with a comprehensive programme of trips. 7 London Travelcards are included, giving you the freedom to navigate the city’s famous sights.
4 HALF-DAY TRIPS TO LONDON
Dive into the heart of London with four half-day excursions. Your included entrances to Kew Gardens and the London Eye offer unique perspectives of the city. Two of these trips are extended into the evening with dinner included, so you can experience London by night. Enjoy a meal at the iconic Hard Rock Café and a packed dinner on the other.
3 FULL-DAY TRIPS TO LONDON
Over three full-day weekend trips, you’ll have ample time to discover more of the capital. Witness the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, take a scenic river cruise from Westminster to Greenwich to see the famous Meridian line, and explore the royal residence of Kensington Palace. Our staff are always available to help you plan your itinerary to make the most of your free time.
FULL DAY COACH TRIP TO OXFORD
Venture outside of London on a full-day coach trip to the “City of Dreaming Spires.” Located under two hours from Richmond, Oxford is a must-see destination. You’ll have the chance to see iconic landmarks like the Bridge of Sighs, the Radcliffe Camera, and Christ Church College. This full-day excursion offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in Oxford’s prestigious academic heritage, admire the captivating architecture of its colleges, and wander through its historic streets.

THE ESSENCE OF ANGLO STUDY HOLIDAYS
Learn, practice and experience English differently.
Courses with dynamic lessons in the classroom, exciting workshops that challenge and engage,
and amazing excursions to make language learning an adventure.
EXCURSIONS
To put into practice all the English students have been learning they need to get out there. Excursions offer a chance to visit the places students have studied, practise their spoken English in a public setting, and explore awesome places.
LEARNING
Communicative, inspiring lessons with material for CEFR levels A1-C1, ANGLO classes have a maximum of 15 students and are designed to build on the knowledge students bring with them, and mesh seamlessly with their stay in the UK.
WORKSHOPS
Carefully tailored sessions which typically start in the classroom for an introduction and language input, then generally students explore campus/the local area to gather information. Finally, the students present to their peers to show what they’ve learned.
SAFETY
Keeping students, staff and group leaders safe is mission critical! Health and safety, safeguarding and security are top of the list.
