Activities and Excursions
Palm Beach is ideally located for visiting a range of exciting cultural and educational sites, including the beautiful beaches.
As always, we aim to give you a localised experience so plan your trips carefully to make sure you get a real taste of southern Florida!
Our Palm Beach centre itself is stunning. The Keiser University campus is full of luscious green open spaces, with water features and clusters of shady trees – great for break times and the evenings.
Much of your time, however, will be spent off campus. There are full-day excursions, which may include Miami and Orlando.
Half-day excursions may include: Everglades Park, Del Rey Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
Also Included in the package: 3 dinners out per 2-week programme, 1 evening cruise with DJ and entrances to Orlando Kennedy Space Center, Orlando Universal Studios, and Everglades National Park.
If you are on campus in the evenings, there are sports sessions, games and discos to keep you entertained and give you the chance to practice your English.
Caring and Attentive Teachers and Staff
Our summer team have been selected for their experience in and suitability for working with young people.
Anglo centre mangers are responsible for ensuring the smooth-running of the programme and most have had many years of experience on summer courses.
Quite a few of our teaching staff have worked with us for several summers as well, and have been involved in developing the syllabus by contributing ideas they have tried and tested at centre.
We are also proud that many of our activity team are returners and that some move into management positions, using their experience to make the programme better and safer each year.
