THE CENTER

Our Los Angeles centre is located at California State University Northridge (CSUN), a perfect base for exploring the city. The campus is in a stunning location near Hollywood, Santa Monica, and the world-famous film studios.
The impressive campus is filled with modern and welcoming common spaces and a wide variety of open-air sports facilities, including two swimming pools, a basketball court, and a beach volleyball court.
Accommodations are in comfortable apartments on campus, composed of two double bedrooms and a shared bathroom.
Free Wi-Fi is available across the entire campus.

Exploring California
The programme is designed to immerse you in the authentic California experience. Get ready to spend time off-campus, exploring the iconic cities, stunning coastline, and diverse landscapes that make this region so famous. Your programme includes visits to:
- Santa Monica and Venice Beach: These endless beaches offer incredible views of the ocean and the famous Santa Monica Pier, where you can have fun and relive scenes from countless movies.
- Getty Center (entrance included): A beautiful complex with spectacular views of Los Angeles. This modern set of buildings was built to house the private art collection of philanthropist J. Paul Getty.
- Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Walk of Fame, Hollywood: Explore the city’s most iconic neighborhoods, where you’ll see amazing houses, trendy shops, and the famous stars of Hollywood.
- Santa Barbara: Discover its beautiful beach and characteristic State Street, the main thoroughfare of the city.
- San Diego: Visit its most famous attractions, including Mission Beach, Belmont Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, and La Jolla, with its sea lions.
- The Broad Museum (entrance included): This museum displays hundreds of works by famous artists and offers a wide perspective on American art.
- Olvera Street, El Pueblo: These symbolic city landmarks tell the story of Los Angeles’s multi-ethnic origins.
- Griffith Observatory: A popular Los Angeles landmark located in the Hollywood Hills, offering the most spectacular views of the city.
FINAL TOUR: LAS VEGAS & NATURAL PARKS
After 10 nights in Los Angeles, you will embark on a four-day, three-night tour of Las Vegas, the entertainment capital famous for its amazing hotels and spectacular architecture. The trip also includes a visit to two of America’s most famous natural parks:
- Grand Canyon (entrance included): Experience a natural landscape that is truly one-of-a-kind.
- Zion National Park (entrance included): Spend a day of adventure walking through the cool waters of the Virgin River as it flows through the iconic red canyon.
Your accommodation will be at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). You’ll stay in a double room with air conditioning, with a shared bathroom that connects to an adjacent double room.
Full board is provided throughout the tour, with meals served on campus, via a prepaid card, or with a convenient meal box. The tour concludes with a final dinner at the Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas.
All travel is arranged via private coach. In the evenings, a private shuttle bus will take you directly from campus to the famous Las Vegas Strip.

THE ESSENCE OF ANGLO STUDY HOLIDAYS
Learn, practice and experience English differently.
Courses with dynamic lessons in the classroom, exciting workshops that challenge and engage,
and amazing excursions to make language learning an adventure.
EXCURSIONS
To put into practice all the English students have been learning they need to get out there. Excursions offer a chance to visit the places students have studied, practise their spoken English in a public setting, and explore awesome places.
LEARNING
Communicative, inspiring lessons with material for all CEFR levels, ANGLO classes are designed to build on the knowledge students bring with them, and mesh seamlessly with their stay in the UK.
WORKSHOPS
Carefully tailored sessions which typically start in the classroom for an introduction and language input, then generally students explore campus/the local area to gather information. Finally, the students present to their peers to show what they’ve learned.
SAFETY
Keeping students, staff and group leaders safe is mission critical! Health and safety, safeguarding and security are top of the list.
